My dear son Timothy,
Yesterday on the All Souls Day, November 2, 2013, I also visited your grand mother. As much as I miss you, I also miss her, my mum. I can still remember how she held you when you were small. We were once very happy together. Like you, she has left us.
I hope and pray that the two of you are together with our Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven. Please look after her there.
I am putting some pictures I took when we visited her.
As you can see, all of us were there too as we were with you.
Your Daddy.

On The All Souls' Day
My dear son Timothy,
Today, November 2, 2013 I visited you again. Your mother, your brother Robert and his family, your aunt Along and her family and members of your own family, your aunt Juliana and Kelvin were all there. The others could not make it, as you know, they were far away. With heavy hearts we lit candles and laid flowers for you. We are still mourning you my son.
Again as always I shed tears and called upon your name.
We gave a simple prayer for you.
"In the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Amen. Lord, we intercede for Timothy's soul to be taken with you in Heaven. Timothy, take good care of yourself and be with the Father, as obedient as you were to him while you were alive on this earth. We always will remember you, and keep you in our hearts, minds and souls. In Jesus' name, Amen. In the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Amen".
I am inserting some of the pictures taken while we were with you today.
Daddy loves you forever.

A prayer for you
My dear son Timothy,
You may not be with me in this world any more. Nevertheless here is a prayer for your soul. Not a day since you left us on August 29, 2013 do I not think of you, pray for you and shed tears for you. For I have loved you so much and always will.
For the sake of my love for you, I am reproducing this special prayer which I just found in Facebook and feel so much relevant to you and me.
Love,
Daddy.

Back in Murum
My dear son Timothy,
I am now back in Murum.
It is 2 months now that the last time I was in Murum. Then you, Timothy, my loving son left me on August 29, 2013. I waited for your 40th day anniversary on September 7, 2013 to hold a prayer for you. On October 14, 2013 I proceeded again to Murum. I am here to continue with my work and to some how relieve my thoughts, feelings and conscience. I am still deeply grieving for you. I love you forever.
Yesterday I went around the site. There were so much changes in the last 2 months. The Murum dam is virtually completed. They have lowered the gate started plugging the diversion tunnel and commenced flooding the reservoir. The water level was steadily rising. Long Wat, the nearest penan longhouse is now under water. The penans have moved to their new homes in the resettlement area.
In the meantime that stretch of the Murum River between the dam and the power house has dried up. The once beautiful rapids, just half a kilometre below the dam is now gone. All that is left along that stretch are the giant boulders, polished gravels and puddles or small shallow ponds here and there. The view and scenery however are extremely beautiful. It is amazing to see what were once under water, but now exposed for all the eyes can see and appreciate.
When that stretch of the river began to dry up the locals were busy catching the fish. It was amazing for them to catch tons of fish within that 2 and a half kilometre stretch of the river. Good fish like empurau, semah mengalan and other types of fish were caught. I managed to join in the last catch, and amazed to catch a big (11 kilos) empurau and several semah averaging a kilo each. I am putting the pictures here for our pleasure to see.
I am sorry to say this my boy, but life for me has to go on. I may have lost you, but the creations of God are still around for me to see and appreciate. Hopefully I will get some comfort.

On your 40th day anniversary
My dear son Timothy,
Today is your 40th day anniversary. We went to visit you once again to light candles for you and to give you some flowers. In the evening we held a Holy Rosary Prayer for you. Many people joined us for the prayer. I stilled cried for you my son when we visited you. I know you are in the save hands of our Lord, Jesus Christ but I missed you so much. I still remember hugging you when you were sick and cuddling and holding you in my arms when you were small. It was only like yesterday. I still can't believe you have left me.
Some pictures taken at your 40th day anniversary, October 7, 2013. Your family, brothers, in-laws, nephews and nieces, mum & dad were there to be with you. We love you and miss you very much.
That's it Timothy. We love you forever.
